Community-Based Water Resiliency Program Webinar

By July 19, 2017 News

EPA will host a free webinar on disaster preparedness for the water sector on July 10 from 2 to 3 pm ET to show how the Community Based Water Resiliency tool can assist drinking water and wastewater utilities, as well as the communities they serve, to prepare for a water service interruption regardless of the cause of interruption. The webinar explores how to better assess current preparedness level, account for water sector interdependencies, and identify areas of improvement for both organizations and communities. The webinar will feature the Water Resiliency Action Plan kit, which provides a step-by-step process for holding a water emergency workshop, as well as a Telly award-winning video “A Day Without Water” to highlight the importance of the water sector in disaster preparedness. Sign up here for the webinar.
